On a weekend in October, we stumbled upon Mr Wang trying to take a selfie in front of Cattleland 2, a mural commemorating the cattle histories of Little India.

​

Mr Wang hails from Thailand, and has been working in Singapore for 2 years in the culinary industry. He shared that life has been busy and he has not been able to see much of the city.  We shared a short conversation about cattle and the mural.

 

“The cows on the wall are so funny! But I like tigers”, he joked. According to Mr Wang, farming was a common sight in Thailand. He could see buffalos working on farms every time he travelled from his hometown near Pattaya to Bangkok. He expressed that it was funny how the cows on the murals are so modern, just like Singapore.
