I saw some pigeons the other day that had a rather striking resemblance to cows. 

​

In some ways they're quite similar. While the pigeon lacks the utility, they're both quite unassuming creatures, and they go about their day dawdling slowly.

There is no denying that a coo is a good substitute for a moo.
